Time to land Fortune 500 clients on Upwork.
Correct positioning is all it takes. (Includes 5-min Tutorial)

It’s Wednesday again and that only means one thing - the Freelance Income Accelerator newsletter has arrived!
In this newsletter, Anthony Muhye, your favorite freelance guide, covers one burning ❤️🔥 freelance topic in depth - and by the time you’re done reading, you will be at least 1% closer to landing your dream clients!
In this issue, you will learn:
Why positioning is EVERYTHING as a freelancer.
How it’s not only about “optimizing” your profile.
and finally, a tutorial video at the end about what EXPERT positioning looks like.
Total Reading Time: 5.5 minutes.
Are you ready? The only valid answer is YES. Let’s dive in!

Have you ever been hired by an Enterprise or Fortune 500 client? If you have, you know how big a moment this is for any freelancer.
The feeling of being noticed, and not only noticed but fully recognized, by one of the world’s biggest companies… it is incomparable.
But to land high-ticket clients and life-changing projects, you need to be well-positioned and demonstrate your authority.
It’s not about just having a great headline like the one you probably have on LinkedIn.
It’s about demonstrating your successful journey, and how you have a track record of solving the problems of clients just like them.
You need to be a one-person brand army.
The Power of USP: the Unique Selling Proposition
How many people do you compete with for every job? 40+ other proposals?
And how many more are in your niche? As of March 2023, there were 18 million freelancers on the platform, and 5 million clients - those are dire odds.
You must stand out if you plan to land a job. There’s no other option.
But how do you stand out effectively?
By having a USP. That differentiating factor that separates you from all other copywriters, virtual assistants, SEO writers or whatever the F you do.
Your USP can be your headline, the first two lines of your bio, your weird proposal style, your quirky bio…
But the most important thing is that it must tell a story about who you are and what you’ve achieved.
I’m not talking about “I was born in Mumbai, studied in IIT, got married…”
I’m talking about how you’ve evolved. What clients have seen in you.
Think of LinkedIn - Jasmin Alić and his “ex-rapper from Bosnia, now working for the biggest companies in the world” backstory. Justin Welsh and his “corporate burnout turned solopreneur who helps people recover control of their lives” background.
This is not just your career story. This is your entire essence. It’s your USP.
